BOF1 has 2 recording studios, a mixing studio, and an editing room. Mainly from recording to mixing of national animation contents.
STAGE1
Origin and Advance
STAGE 1 is a 5.1ch recording studio on the 2nd floor of BOF1. The booth accommodates 20 people and has an analog-based recording environment. We have adopted an unique system that allows video and audio files with various codecs, frame rates, sample rates, and bit rates to be mixed without any conversion process. All studios and editing rooms of BOF1 have this ability.

STAGE2
Recording Studio with Mobility
STAGE 2 is a recording studio on the 3rd floor of BOF1. The booth accommodates 15 people and has an analog-based recording environment. We have adopted 2 mix monitors, emphasizing reliability and mobility.

STAGE3
6.1ch Mixing Studio
STAGE 3 is a 6.1ch mixing studio on the 4th floor of BOF1. We have adopted an Stewart’s electric sound screen. We provide a monitoring environment complete with options for film (“screen back”) and video (“direct”). There is also a small recording booth which has an analog-based recording environment as same as STAGE1 and STAGE2.

EDIT1／EDIT2
Non-linear Editing Room
This is a HD-compatible nonlinear online editing room located on the 1st floor of BOF1. Three independent tasks can be performed simultaneously. With Apple Final Cut Pro7 as the main tool, Edit Room implements industry-leading applications such as Avid Media Composer 6.5, Adobe Premier Pro, and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve V16. We can preview and adjust the subtitle on Photoshop at the same time. Finishing work by importing AAF files is also supported.
In the capture room, VTR decks of various formats including SONY HD-CAM SR are prepared. Data will be imported to the high-speed NAS server “SPACE” ,enabling a variety of media conversion and media copying. “SPACE” integrates the all studios and editing room of BOF1.
